ASSAIF originates, designs, implements and manages those projects that may contribute to a spiritually, intellectually, and economically sound individual and societal development. It secures funding through the interest-free, asset-backed, and risk-sharing modes of financing. It also values and disseminates the culture of diversity, and encourages the development in Western societies of new forms of governance that take into account the financial inclusion of the Muslim communities. It operates on a project-basis model by sourcing the expertise required in the same location of the project’s development. Furthermore, ASSAIF invests sizeable financial and human resources in capacity building by promoting and sponsoring seminars and conferences around the world. These events provide for a better comprehension of the Islamic eco-system and help debating controversial issues. Lastly, ASSAIF fully supports Edizioni Dulcarnon.
With its value-based approach, ASSAIF partakes in the transformational reforms that are shaking the current international financial order. These reforms incorporate policies originating from religious backgrounds, such as the faith-based economy and the Islamic eco-system, and from civil society, such as impact investing. They all promote social and environmental responsibility, wealth redistribution, and good governance. They also advocate decentralized finance through crowd-funding and blockchain’s smart-contracts.
